Here's a few pics of my current project.
Any comments are welcome
I stripped the body and found a weird type of grain (located just above the p/guard).
Since I couldn't do my usual burnt stain finish due to the crappy grain, I thought I try a weathered beach house type look. I haven't put a matt finishing coat on it yet. There's some wood dust on the fretboard and p/guard.
I'm wondering if anybody, I mean anybody at all likes the look .
Btw, it's looks alot better in person and is more green than blue
I've got a new trem arm on order from Rich at Ibanez Rules
Sure it's cool! I'm guessing you were inspired by the BSB Jem?
It looks like sh*t dude but if you apply some hard layer polish it will kick some ass. Go for it
I like it.

That's what I was thinking as well ... only parts need to be burnt a little darker

I disagree... I think the matte look will look much better for this type of thing.
Personally I'd burn the large spots a little more to give it an almost camo-ish look.
personally I think it needs a good coat of solid paint. =)
Well, that's my kind of finish.. Cool..
