How hot is the EVH?

Is the EVH as hot as say a Duncan Custom? Would a blues player looking for a slightly hotter pickup find it useful?

Its no where near as hot as a Custom. Its PAF territory.

mine measure's 9.01k

like a slightly beefed up 59 IMO... very PAF sounding. w/ some extra umph.

I think a blues guy who likes PAF tone .. and wants a little more output could benifit from it.
