Not to nit pick but I assume you mean customIZED.. a 400$ Import with a refinish and some upgrades is hardly a custom instrument
I don't know if it's the paintjob or the camera, but the flames on that Rhodes look wicked. Nice pictures, man. Thanks for sharing.
That's a RR1 american model buds, and the flames do look wierd but it's just the picture. Yes, Jackson told us that it is.
And the room isn't big enough for me to be able to get his whole drum set so naturally some stuff is missing outta the picture.

Sorry man, but No way in hell, and there´s nothing you can do to change that...
ALL non custom shop USA Rhoads are neckthru the only exception being the 1996-97 RR2 (Bolt on, 22 frets, blank ebopny board, no binding, JT-580LP trem, reverse headstock).. but yours is CLEARLY a bolt on.
Furthermore, NO USA guitar EVER had quot;Professionalquot; or quot;Performerquot; after the logo, as this one most obviously does (The quot;Made in USAquot; -suffix is much smaller and probably wouldn´t even show up on the pic.)
Jackson stopped doing verifications for the general public in late ´94, about 2 years before this guitar could even have been produced if it´s a performer, shortly after production if it´s a professional...
I´m not saying that you´re lying, as this may be the info you have...but none of it CAN be true, somebody shafted the hell out of you if you bought that as a USA ... or even if you paid more than 400-500$ for it
Hmm, well no we weren't ripped off even if it was just a foreign model. Help me out here, what info can I give you that can help you date this thing or at least tell what it is?
Professional or performer on the headstock? If Professional, what does the truss rod cover say?
Currently I´m tending towards quot;Performer, Model PS-3T, MIJ 95 (notable on the narrow dot spacing compared to India and Korea), refinished and customizedquot;
The headstock says quot;Conceptquot;.

At that time the RR-1 didn´t even exist yet, but only its predecessor the Rhoads Custom (essentially the same guitar with Jackson Pickups, Active Mid boost and Schaller Trem)... the Model Name RR-1 wasn´t used until ´95, when the switch to Duncans and OFRs was made
Oh man... I looked at the picture, and I knew Zerb would go to town with this one
With the drumset, only actual drums (toms, kick, snare) make up the 'pieces.' So, your drummer has a 9 piece set. 9 Pieces seems a bit massive to me, without having two kicks. Does he plan to get a second one eventually?
Either way, that DW9000...

Well, either way, it looks cool. It's almost like they're glowing.
