tell me about the cool rails

I was able to nab a Cool Rails off of eBay at a good price so it should be here any day. I am building a super-strat type guitar with a Fender Highway 1 body and a short scale USACG neck (maple board). I am going to use a JB in the bridge and will be putting the cool rails in the neck. If everything goes well with the neck CR I will probably get another for the middle.

What can I expect fromt he cool rails with 250K pots? I want to keep the 250's cause I like the tone of the JB better with 250's. I assuming that the CR will have a thicker more full tone but still more of a single coil flavor. I've only used traditional singles like the antiquity texas hots ans ssl-1's so I am just curious about how the CR will compare.

They've got rails. They're cool. That about covers it.

They're my favorite Rails type pickup. You'll be happy with that setup.
And eventually, it's not a bad idea to put one in the middle.
